FAQs

01. メールの受信について

Please check the following.

  • Your device is connected to the network
  • [Settings] > [Receive/Display] > [Auto-receive] is enabled
    If disabled, tap [Check mails] on the folder list screen, or [Update] on the mail list screen of an individual folder.
  • [Settings] > [Offline mode] is enabled
  • To receive mails in either the trash or user-created folders, tap [Update] on the mail list screen.

Please check the following.

  • The only folder for which you can automatically receive mail is the Inbox.
  • On Android 4.3 or later, if CosmoSia is terminated by a killer application such as “Advanced Task Killer”, then ComsmoSia sometimes cannot get new messages automatically.
  • The same thing may happen when the Android system terminated CosmoSia because of insufficient system memory.
  • If none of the above applies to you, press the menu key on the folder list screen and check to make sure that [Settings] > [Receive/Display] > [Auto-receive] is enabled.

You can only get up to 4 days of mail from the server automatically. To get mail that is older than that, tap [Load next 25 mails] on the mail list screen of an individual folder.


Press the menu key on the folder list screen, then tap [Refresh] to update mails not only for the past 4 days as the sync period, but for older than that also, in the folder which you can automatically receive mails.

If you want to update mails on each individual folder, press the menu key on the mail list screen of that folder and tap [More] > [Refresh].


Intray cannot set up automatic sorting of mail. If your mail service supports automatic sorting of mail, set it up in your mail service’s Webmail or mail client.


Pressing [Check mails] applies updating on the server during the past 4 days, and [Update] or [Refresh] for older than that also.


Please check Gmail settings. Open Gmail by browser (link to https://mail.google.com/ or others). Select [Settings] > [Labels], and enable [Show in IMAP] of [Trash] if it’s disabled.


Intray cannot show attachments whose size is over 5MB.


If you move messages with attachments of Hotmail or Outlook on Intray, the attachments may be broken. Please use a web mailer of a browser application to move messages with attachments on Hotmail or Outloock.


You cannot sync data if auto-sync data at Data usage is off.
Please turn it on.
[auto-sync data] may not appear at the menu of [Settings]-[Data usage]
on your device.


02. メールの送信について

Please check the following.

  • Your device is connected to the network
  • [Settings] > [Offline mode] is disabled
  • A correct recipient address is entered

03. メールの操作について

Mail protection is not supported.


Intray has an upper limit of number of mails it can have. When it has more than the upper limit, the oldest mails are deleted from the device automatically. However, the mails are not deleted from the server.


It is used to mark mail items, which make it easier to find important mails, etc. at a later time.


Press the menu key on the mail list screen and tap [Flag], then you can select mails from the mail list and mark as flagged/unflagged collectively.


Because there is a limit to the number of mail items that can be saved on the device, the mail you are looking for may have been deleted. Select [Search server] from the options menu on the advanced search screen, and search for the mail on the server.


You can see who sent the mail by the thumbnail.
If the mail address is registered in Contacts, the image (photo) registered in Contacts is displayed.
If the mail address is not registered in Contacts, the first literal is displayed.
The different person has different colour, so you can easily check who sent the mail.


In the mail detail screen, the name registered in the Contacts is displayed, not mail address, if it exists.
You can check the mail address by tapping “>” following the name and open the Contacts.


When you try to open the content of the zip file with password, the application requires the password.
During the mail detail screen attached the zip file, you don’t have to input the password again.
After you move to other screen or terminate the application, the application requires the password.


04. アプリの管理について

From Android’s [Settings], select [Security]->[Device administrators] and uncheck Intray.
When the confirmation screen of device administrators, select “Deactivate”, then you can uninstall Intaray.


10. アカウントについて

Currently, mail services such as Exchange, Gmail,.

You cannot use accounts for carriers or Internet providers that use other protocols.


Currently, you can set only one account in Intray.


Currently, mail services such as Exchange, Gmail, Google Apps, Outlook, Hotmail, docomo mail, Yahoo! Mail and that supporting the IMAP protocol can be used for the account.

Please check the following.

  1. Generate application-specific password on Google account setting page
  2. Launch CosmoSia.
  3. Tap [Settings] > [Server]
  4. Please set application-specific password at the following two settings.
    • Password of IMAP server settings
    • Password of SMTP server settings
  5. Tap [OK]

Please check the following.

  1. Delete your Yahoo! mail account from CosmoSia, if it’s already registered.
  2. Launch CosmoSia.
  3. Tap [Select account] from menu
  4. Tap [Add new account]
  5. Tap [Yahoo! mail]
  6. Please input the following.
    • Yahoo!JAPAN ID : Secret ID
    • Mail Address : Your mail address(not secret ID)
    • Password : Your password of your Yahoo! account

20. システム要件について

  • Android 4.0 or higher.
  • iOS 7.0 or higher.

30. タスク管理機能について

タスクに設定したメールは、下記のフォルダ(ラベル)に格納しています。

[intray]/Tasks

そのため、WEBメーラー等で、このフォルダを確認頂く事で、タスクに振り分けたものを確認頂く事が可能です。


タスクに設定されたメールは専用フォルダ「[Intray]/Tasks」に格納します。

はじめてタスク設定の操作が行われたタイミングで、アプリ側にて上記フォルダを作成しますが、
「サーバ側でフォルダ作成に対応しておりません。」とのエラーが出る場合は
お使いのメールサーバでは、アプリ側からフォルダ作成が行えないこと示します。

そのため、お手数をおかけしますが、Webメール等でフォルダ作成(※)をお願いいたします。

※お使いのサーバによって作成できるフォルダが異なりますので、以下、上から順にお試しいただきますようお願いいたします。

    • フォルダ「[Intray]」を作成後、フォルダ「[Intray]」に対してサブフォルダ「Tasks」を作成
    • フォルダ「Intray」を作成後、フォルダ「Intray」に対してサブフォルダ「Tasks」を作成
    • フォルダ「[Intray]/Tasks」を作成
    • フォルダ「Intray/Tasks」を作成
    • フォルダ「[Intray].Tasks」を作成
    • フォルダ「Intray.Tasks」を作成

 


31. Evernoteについて

If you are using a Gmail account,

  • The mail was moved “[Gmail] / All Mail” folder.

If you are using other account,

  • The mail was moved to the “Archive” folder.
